CleJones Plumbing Story

Cleophus Jones learned plumbing at the age of 19 under his late father Roy Lee Jones Sr. in his hometown of Conway, AR. Under his father’s tutelage, Cleophus, his older brother and younger brother became highly skilled in the trade and worked together in the family plumbing business throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. They were the most sought after and well known plumbers in town and responsible for most of the plumbing work installed in local churches, businesses, eating establishments and residences. During those years their skills developed and expanded into all types of building, construction and repair work. Those early opportunities allowed them to network and build relationships with various people in position in the Arkansas area.

In 1984 Cleophus moved to Atlanta, GA where he brought his talents to a new level. He became successful with rehabilitating and remodeling many homes. He was involved in building design from reading blueprints to full completion, always incorporating his plumbing expertise at the precise point of foundation construction. He installed water mains, storm drains, sanitary sewer systems, concrete work on curb and gutters and complete plumbing throughout warehouses and shopping centers. He worked on the Atlanta City Hall, Hartsfield Airport and Morris Brown College. He also completed plumbing installations for Sears in Atlanta. Over the years he has acquired many wise tips and tricks of the trade. Cle, (pronounced like tree) is often called on for plumbing advice or opinion.

In 2009 Cleophus relocated to the Arlington/Mansfield area of Texas. He began working with a nephew who had established his own plumbing business. In 2016, newly married, and with fresh vision, he branched out and established his own business as CleJones Plumbing.

Working as a sole proprietor, and a Master Plumber in three states, AR, GA and TX, CleJones Plumbing has become a customer favorite. He is often requested, and has a personable yet professional way of developing a great rapport with all. He has worked for several of the best known warranty companies such as Old Republic, Home Warranty of America and American Home Shield and was also utilized as a contractor for Lowe’s in Mansfield and Arlington.

Although his two brothers, along with two nephews, branched out in individual directions with their own specialty area of plumbing, each continue their own careers and on occasion, glean from each other’s talents and expertise.
